Are you our next new author?
Submissions are currently closed until March 2025.
DNS Publications is open to receiving unsolicited query letters from authors bi-annually from March 1st (Spring Submissions Period)
and September 1st (Fall Submissions Period) until we have reached our capacity.
When we are open for submissions, we welcome queries only from authors. If we determine that the book shows potential, we will invite you to submit a book proposal to our Editor-in-Chief, and proceed from there to a publishing agreement if we believe we are a good fit for your work.
Please do not send a book proposal unless invited to do so.
Please note that we will only consider queries regarding completed manuscripts.
Before submitting a query, please read our ‘About Us’ page, especially the ‘Our Content’ section.
Literary Agents are always free to submit unsolicited proposals:

Once we have had a chance to properly review your manuscript, we will send through an offer for a Publishing Agreement, detailing our timeline for publication, royalties, and marketing proposals.
If, at this point, your work is not considered suitable, we will contact you to explain our decision.

Our Unique Editorial Environment
DNS Publications is the independent publishing house of the Dominican Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary in Summit, New Jersey.
As contemplative religious, our primary work is the worship of Our Lord in a life totally consecrated to Him.
As such, our work is conducted according to the demands and vicissitudes of monastic life.
While we will do everything we can to offer a professional, attentive, and timeous response to all queries,
we ask for your understanding if this should cause any inconvenience in the process of working with us.
